<txp:link_description /> question/problem

I just uploaded txp from 4.0.6 to 4.0.8 without any problems except that it doesn’t look like you can use markup in the link_description field anymore… does anyone know a way around this?

The last list item on this page in the Snippit section shows an example of this: http://iamdanielmarino.com/ (assuming I don’t update the page before you click the link…)

Thanks

Dan

Use escape="" in the link_description tag. The default value changed from "" to html.

Re: <txp:link_description /> question/problem

I’m having the same problem either with link_description and file description.
I was reluctant to post here for help because I thought the problem was caused by some hack I made or by hak_tinymce…
Are you having problems with file description too?
Ooops! thank you Els

On a related note…is it possible to allow Textile in the link_description? I guess that would involve running it through textile before outputting it?

Yes, you can use upm_textile to textile more or less anything you enclose it in.
