force fake date for articles

Hello, is it possible to force a article to have a date stamp that is not really the date when the article was written?

The thing is that i am currently converting a site that i just did with html and css to textpattern, and i would like to have the stuff from the old site on the new. And i would like them to display the date when they where originally written, not when i put them into textpattern…

You can alter the datestamp of an article by clicking “More” in the lower-right hand corner of the Write tab, and setting the date/time there. But you have to do it one article at a time…
