Drupal to Textpattern migration
Hi all!
I have some blogs based on Drupal CMS, I’d like to switch the to Textpattern because I think it suits my needs better.
Does exist a script to export articles from Drupal and import them in Textpattern?
Anyone has done this stuff yet?
Or is there a brave buddy who could help me?
Thank you all in advance!

Re: Drupal to Textpattern migration
Hey,
I once tried to migrate a site from Textpattern to Drupal. Ended up having to do it manually. You can export nodes from Drupal as CSV files (node export) and I suppose with a bit of magic you could import those into Textpattern.

Re: Drupal to Textpattern migration
I imported stuff out of a totally different, home-brew environment into TXP…
My approach was to take the data, which might as well have been csv (well, it was actually in FileMaker) and output it into Movable Type format file, and then import that into TXP. Pretty straightforward, really. You just need to learn a bit about the movable type format.
