Custom field names won't show in write tab
Just out of interest, why would custom field names only show as custom1, custom2 etc in the write tab when you configured them with proper names in the preferences tab?
Calling them with the <txp:custom_fields> tag works just fine, they just don’t show up correctly in the write tab?

mmm…that is strange!
try to delete your temporary internet files
and if not, go and delete the file “txp_article.php” under “textpattern\include” and upload it again

Els, how could you have guessed. Seems like every problem I get with this site is somehow MLP-related?
Anything I can do about it? Or do I just have to work with a notepad jotting down which is which;-)

It doesn’t have to be a problem. My guess is that you didn’t enter the custom field names for all languages. Go to MLP > Snippets > Specials, you can enter the custom field names in all languages there.
Edited to add: I always enter the same name for every language, unless you have end users that need to see the names in their own language.
