[archived] gho_footnote

**********************************************************
A while ago I wrote a plugin for Textpattern that inserts footnotes. I never got used to the implementation of footnotes in Textile for various reasons.
The textile-driven footnotes are convenient if you want to show your footnotes inside one article, but its not possible to put the resulting list of footnotes anywhere on your site, collect footnotes over various articles and show them at the end of the page for the whole page or change anything in the appearance of the footnotes or the indicator for the footnote. Furthermore you have to maintain two places of content for one footnote. The footnote itself don’t link back to the place where the footnote is indicated.
That was enough reason for me to write my own plugin for some more convenience. I you recognize one of your own problems with footnotes in my points above give it a try.

Re: [archived] gho_footnote
Patrick, this plug-in is superb. Thank you. I’m always hesitant to put <txp> tags in my articles unless I really have to. But <txp:gho_comment>
is `so` worth it. Thanks!
