Childcare facility website
This has been live in “beta” for about a month, so it’s time to show: nidi intercomunali. A local childcare facility site.
Made with 4.0.6., a bunch of plugins (14 active) and a different piece of software to manage the newsletter.
Feel free to comment and to ask, and report any bug if you find one! Thanks! :)

Re: Childcare facility website
Lovely site, very nice colours! One thing: “Un’ initiativa di” (top right) is a serif font (at least that’s what I see in Firefox/Linux), and not very readable. Was it intended?
Oh, and what is stopping you to upgrade?

Thanks, good advice! I always forget to style error pages… :) Done.
Els:
- Thanks, the colours were the most difficult thing to achieve, because I had to comply with my national accessibility law, that makes this very poor algorithm mandatory. I rarely see an accessible site that still is colourful, so I’m happy with the result.
- Yes, the serif is intended (to mimic the titles in the page and to contrast the sans-serif of the list that follows), the reading difficulties in Linux not quite. :) Now I’m not sure about the best fix. Putting an anti-aliased image? It’s not a very important text.
- I haven’t upgraded yet because I’m focused on the functional check and small improvement needed. I plan to upgrade when everything is ok!
Thanks!

I did not know that, thanks for pointing it out.

Sorry, I hadn’t even noticed that the titles were serif also…
Now I’m not sure about the best fix.
May just a bit of letter-spacing
? But you’re right that it’s not an important part of the page.

Re: Childcare facility website
Els, I ended sizing up the text, I think that’s a better solution than using an image. Tried the letter-spacing, but that wasn’t enough. Thanks for noticing the problem!
