Multi-Level Bulleted List using Textile

Hi,

While I have no problem using Textile to create numeric list, the bulleted list doesn’t seem to work the way I wanted.

There is no indentation for my bulleted list. In other words, although the list starts on a new paragraph, the bullets are all pushed against the left margin of the main content body.

In additon, how can I create 2- or 3-level bullet list in Textile?

(PS: is there any way to attach small screenshots on the forum? It’d be easier to see what the problem is.)

Thank you,

Jay

No idea about the squashed up bullet lists (CSS isn’t my strong point), but…

how can I create 2- or 3-level bullet list in Textile?

* Level 1
** Level 2
*** Level 3

!image_url!

(in theory, though success might depend on how long you’ve had your forum account, I’m not sure if there are any restrictions. Failing that a "link":http://yoursite.com/to/your/picture.jpg should work)

Re: Multi-Level Bulleted List using Textile

Thanks Bloke. After tweaking my CSS, I guess the problem is the lack of indentation for the list, i.e., the bullets stick out of the body text’s left alignment.

I also tried 2-level listing, hoping to mimick the effect of increasing indent. But like I guessed, it did not work because you’ll need a first-level, which goes back to the problem, before you can have a 2nd-level bulleted list

Does this ALA article look anything like what you’re seeing?
