How do I implement a 'members' section?

Hi Guys,

I’ve this idea that I’m trying to implement, albeit offline initially. I’ve created a section /members in my TXP install, and would like to implement a ‘members section’ where only registered members can be able to access the following:
-Member Discussion Forums (does a suitable discussion forums plugin exist? ) : For some interactivity
-Member Polls & Voting ( Well, plainly get members to ‘vote’ on set questions )
-Be able to register, and post comments, articles, e.t.c (Site admin should ‘confirm’ actions)

Any ideas?

Txp has no member functionality built in, you would need to use a few plugins. My advice would be to use something like ExpressionEngine which has the functionality you’re looking for built in.

Que, may I suggest you stick to the thread you already opened? You have the same question in I think three threads now with the result that you miss answers. I posted a link in this thread of yours on setting up a client section. A member section follows the same principle.
