Getting customers to register

Is there an inbuilt function or textpattern plugin to give the customer an option to register to view parts of the site. I’ve had a good search. I can’t find anything
Does anyone know.

thanks

Re: Getting customers to register

The deadly combo of mem_self_register and ign_password_protect deliver all the kung fu you need to do that.

EDIT: and there’s also rvm_privileged for people who log in on the admin side first.

The smd plugin menagerie — for when you need one more gribble of power from Textpattern. Bleeding-edge code available on GitHub.
