I need to make a list that will include articles with the status of
Live and Sticky
in the same list not before and after
so how does this work please? status="?"

Re: how to have 2 status live&sticky ?
The idea of status for articles is to provide us with a method to separate the posts. If they are to be in the article list under the general sort
methods, then they do not have to be of a different status
. Having said that, there used to be a plugin which allowed a comma delimited list of article statuses. I just can’t find it in the textattern resources site.

Yeah, I’ve wanted a consolidated sticky live behavior in core for a long time. The current implementation is anti-intuitive inflexible and retarded quirky, but related to rss feeds (sticky not turning up in RSS feeds).
Personally I think the status attribute should accept a comma seperated list status="sticky, live, draft, flatulent"
which would allow existing, and new behavior.
But that’s just me.

Re: how to have 2 status live&sticky ?
thanks for the reply
here is an explanation for why I need this:
I got two pages
- home
- videos
I want to show a list of the last 4 videos (Posted desc) on the home page
every video got is own article
now I suddenly added a video from the past with an old date
and I want it to be shown on the home page together with the last 3 other videos,
so I put it on sticky and got it on the top of the other 3 videos
works fine.
but
when I go to the videos page -
I want to see the “sticky video” in the right order (Posted desc)
in the list with all the other videos
and because of it’s on sticky, it’s not appearing in the list at all
:/
so like you say before, if we was founding that plugin I was just do it like this status="4; 5"
or something.
and another good plugin will be to set how much time you want the article to be on sticky status
and after that time to automaticly change the status to live
so you will not need to touch anything and not to remind yourself to change it in a week or so ;)
