Txp 4.0.7 uncompatible plugins list and patches to make them working
I’ve found that many plugins seem to be uncompatible with the latest revision of Texpattern so far.
I think it would be useful to put in this topic the list of the compatible ones or the hacks/modifies to get them working again.
It would be useful for newbies and for the ones who need a particular plugin for their site and who can’t move to 4.0.7 until that plugin isn’t ready.

You may want to rename the topic to “Txp 4.0.7 INcompatible plugins list”, because that’s a shorter list.

I’ve corrected the title. The important thing, anyway, is to find the patches to make the uncompatible plugins working again.

Which ones are those? Among the plugins I’m using (and there are quite a few!) I haven’t found a single one that doesn’t work anymore…

That list definetly is short. Also ied_plugin_composer required update, because a one unused function (sanitizeForFile()) was removed from core, but bloke was plazing fast and updated it years ago (17 days ago).

Yup, as Gocom said, ied_plugin_composer suffered a tiny bit because I jumped the gun a week too early, but it’s fixed. Other than that I’ve not found many more I use that don’t work. upm_date_archive is the only I know of that still needs a polish. rss_admin_db_manager still works with colak’s posted patch.
From my own perspective:
- smd_tags definitely does not work yet, but there’s a big update I’m working on that does. Hang tight.
- smd_remote_file was questionable but has been spanked and it stopped crying; again, awaiting release after some more testing. I have some serious plans for this one… *mysterious music*

I have yet to find any that do not work. My core set of plugins functions perfectly. It was actually nice to drop two of my common ones (asy_wondertag and glx_if_current) for functionality that is now native.
