Upgrading from version 1.x to 4.0.7
Hi!
Is there a smart way to make this huge version jump? The easy way (“just copy and run”) described on textpattern.com fails…

What error are you getting? What doesn’t work?

There were apparently plenty people who installed the 1.0something versions. Upgrading should work in theory, but I’m not surprised if it doesn’t. Please provide more details about what fails.

You may want to try to upgrade to 4.0.1 or other earlier version first and then jump to 4.0.7.
