Christmas fund raising for TXP Developers
Okay, fund raising has started. If you trust handing the money to a guy like me, here are the… let’s call them rules: ;)
- we collect donations until December 31st
- I’ll update this post day by day in order to keep you posted regarding how much we collected and the donors’ names
- if devs have an on-line wish list I’ll buy stuff from that list, otherwise I’ll ask each dev what he would like to receive
- on January 1st I’ll split the total amount collected in three (we have three devs) and proceed with the purchases on Amazon.uk or any other e-retailer of choice
- if I won’t be able to spend all the money collected in gifts, I’ll send the remaining amount directly to the devs’ PayPal accounts.
That’s it. Any other idea/suggestion/correction?
For donations please refer to my personal PayPal account: fede (at) kero (dot) it.
Under the type of payment please select “Donation” or “Gift” from the dropdown menu, so we won’t pay any PayPal fee (I think).

Hi. I was thinking, since Xmas time is approaching, how about we start a fund raising in order to send some gifts to our devs (in the same fashion Alexandra did a few years ago)?
Anybody up to collecting money via PayPal and then place the orders? If no one else is interested, I could do that.

Yeah, I’ll chip in…
Don’t think it’s a good idea to “mandate” a minimum contribution though…

Er, I’m not a dev anymore. Don’t get me wrong, I love presents, just not obtained for the wrong reason(s). Just collect what you can, then split it between the active devs. :)
