I need a TXP sensei! (Glass template)
Yoda, Santa, Jesus, magical TXP elves, whoever … hear my plea:
While I’ve been using Textpattern for several years, I’m only just now trying to learn CSS. I’m doing pretty well with that, but I still know virtually nothing about TXP tags, and trying to make sense of all of it together (TXP tags and CSS and HTML) is killing me.
I started with the Glass template and am having a hard time with it. I’ve been able to make some changes in seconds, which only makes it more frustrating when other things — things that seem like they should be really simple — are taking me HOURS. One thing that’s been baffling me for two days is where/how to change the color of the text in the date line. (Really, how hard can that be? Too hard for me, obviously.) And I spent most of today trying to sort out how to increase the margin between entries and how to make blockquotes show normally with no weird/fancy style. Still haven’t solved any of these problems. I’m tearing my hair out at this point.
Would anyone be willing to provide hands-on help (via TXP panel login) and/or guide me in figuring out how/where to make the changes I want to make? I find it particularly helpful to be able to discuss things in realtime in IM, so if anyone has an IM account and would be willing to help me out, that would be extra swell.
I’m trying so hard to get better at this. (And yes, I feel rotten that I’ve been using TXP for nearly three years and still know so little. I am hanging my head in shame. Oh, the depth of the shame.)

If you post a URL here (or via email) and let me know which thing you want to change, I can help.
