Set a default category?
Hi folks,
Is there a way to set a category as default so I don’t have to pick it every time I write a new article (lazy, I know)? Quick search turned up nothing, but “category” and “default” are pretty vague keywords to search on. :-)
Thanks!

Off the top of my head I don’t think so, but you could always install upm_savenew which adds a Save New button to your published articles so you can clone them and edit them…?

Re: Set a default category?
Nice workaround. I may try to cobble together a default category plugin, though. I’ll post here if I do. Thanks!

Wow, Gocom that’s perfect! I was hoping for a pointer to an existing plugin, I really didn’t expect anyone to write one for me—so generous with your time—THANK YOU!
