[request] Task list / to do list
After a cursory search through the various textpattern treasure troves I have not been able find anything on creating a “task list”. This request comes from the process of developing a txp-based site to coordinate and archive the work of members of project collaborating from disparate places. This seems to be the only missing piece in creating a basic site for this type of collaboration.
Ideally the interface would allow the authorized members to create tasks from themselves and other members. The view of the task list (page?) would depend on members selected (defined by the category – all (default), member1, member2, etc.,) When a task’s completion is reported (by the assignee) and confirmed (by the assigner) the item would disappear from the current task list page moved to and task-list archive page.
If I have blindly overlooked an obvious solution or alternative, please try not laugh to hard and kindly point me in the right direction…
Thanks!

I’m not sure if this is what you’d be after, but mrdale’s client section features
- a list of work completed for a client (most recent first)
or you could use basecamp : a webapp for project management. I believe you can host one project for free.

not that textpattern can’t be used for almost anything, but maybe a more specialized solution can fit your needs with less hacking. I can recommend
Collabtive
and
ProjectPier
for project management
