Re: Feedback on the Textpattern 4.0.7 release
Thanks for this fine release. I like the many small improvements here and there.
I like the new way to edit users on “Admin -> Users”, it’s easier than previous one.
BTW, on that screen, if you click “Edit”, you will see this on top:
Edit Author “{name}”
(Is this thread the right place to report this little findings?)

Julián, update your language on the preferences/language tab (or if that doesn’t work, the translator needs to update the translation).

Re: Feedback on the Textpattern 4.0.7 release
Ruud, the language (English GB) seems to be updated on 29 nov, but nothing changed.
I’m currently using English (GB) and Spanish on a MLP install.
One more question: what about the new WYSIWYG mechanism? How does it work? Is it just the “View” link on the “Write” tab or there is something else?
Thanks.

Re: Feedback on the Textpattern 4.0.7 release
Hmm… try updating again. I’ve just updated the en-gb language (nothing changed, just to reset the modify date to today).
If the WYSIWYG thing is what I think you mean, then yes, it’s the view link on the write tab which works even if the status is pending/draft/hidden

Re: Feedback on the Textpattern 4.0.7 release
I’ve updated the language again and it says just “Edit Author”, so I think it’s fixed.
Thanks :)
I’ve tested the WYSIWYG for draft/pending/hidden. Great feature, the only downside is articles can be previewed just in their individual article context. No previewing on article list context.
You know I would have loved something in the line of this (shameless plug of own ideas). (Well, that thread derived to the development of this new feature :D).

Re: Feedback on the Textpattern 4.0.7 release
Excellent work to all involved: coders, testers, patchers, feature-requesters: you know who you all are. This is a truly monster release. Go tags-in-tags go!
I’ve updated the Textbook tag reference to take account of all tag additions/changes listed in HISTORY.txt. The only things missing are some concrete examples for a few of the tags:
- if_first_section
- if_last_section
- if_first_category
- if_last_category
- rsd (what the…?? I’m not an XML-RPC user)
If anyone can add some useful examples to them, please consider doing so.
Thanks, and happy Textpatterning.
