The new tag parser is an early Christmas gift :-) because I could never get asy_wondertag to work in the few cases I really would have needed it.

The king (wondertag) is dead (or obsolete), long live the king (4.07 tag parser).
I’m gonna miss you wondertag, but single quotes around nested tags are a damn-sight easier.

Amen to all that. Wondertag allowed me to do some interesting things that would’ve otherwise been impossible. It remains, however, an exceedingly clever hack and prone to breaking in inconvenient ways. The new built-in functionality is both more robust and more extensive, and I’m looking forward to getting my hands dirty with it.
