Displaying txp:image in previews?
An author on a blog I created is using html <img> links in their articles rather than <txp:image> links.
I told them that using txp:image is preferred as it makes the site more portable also allows changes to image format without having to go back and edit every article.
They told me that was fine and good, but when they use the <txp:image> tag they can’t see their images in the article preview!
I checked, and sure enough they are correct. That does present a problem as they would like to preview the article complete with the embedded images.
Any ideas about how to get <txp:image> tags to be processed in preview?

No, that might not be possible, but then I don’t use preview anyway.
However I can offer an alternative approach…
Create an “invisible section” like “preview”, that isn’t linked to anywhere in the site. Then authors can publish articles there and preview them before assigning them to the proper section when they go live.

Textpattern 4.0.7 will support WYSIWYG previewing of draft and hidden articles.
