Folders permissions
I installed textpattern locally on my winXp. It works ok. Then I installed two plugins – cnk_versioning and hcg_templates. Both of them exports pages, forms & css to edit it in external text-editor. Both of them when I try to use them have the same error – “folder not writable” (folders must be in textpattern directory – I’ve created them and set permissions).
How can I change folder permissions to make it works? I’ve change permissions on tab “Security” (when I right-click on folder and choose this tab), but it not helped.

Re: Folders permissions
Are you running Apache on your Windows XP machine (or IIS)? I remember encountering the same folder-permissions error ages ago (I’m trying to remember what the fix was… because, as you say, you don’t have the normal CHMOD. I think there was something like this from Microsoft, but to do with a quirk on my system. I’ll see what I can dig up in my notes…

Yes, I run Apache – I’ve installed XAMPP package on my winXP.
Thanks for link – I’ll read it.

Re: Folders permissions
Problem fixed.
It was my fault – I’ve created folders not in the proper directory. Now I fix it & it works )
