Trouble with images directory
When I click the images tab in the content section of the textpattern admin I get the following message:
Warning: cannot write to image directory
/home/virtual/site115/fst/var/www/html/images/.
Please change file permissions to 777.
** How do I change file permissions to 777 – where do I do this??

Wait . . . after I browsed to my file and hit upload, I got the following message:
Warning: move_uploaded_file(): SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid is 618 is not allowed to access /tmp/txp_heQxrp owned by uid 48 in /home/virtual/site115/fst/var/www/html/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php on line 1197
Does anyone know what this means??

I got the same problem: The permissions for the folder are 777 (I checked about 10 times) and Diagnostics doesn’t find anything either. However, when I try to upload an image textpattern tells me that it cannot write to /www/images/ which is odd as I only put ‘images’ in the preferences. (After all that is the folder that the images are saved in.)
Any ideas?

All solved: Just reuploaded all textpattern files and deleted the mem_multifile_upload plugin. I assume that some files got corrupted when I moved them to a new server…
