probkem with installing 4.0.7.

Hello,

Because 4.0.7. has features i need for my website i would give it a try.
I use SVN to download all the files
After that i uploaded everything to my webserver.
But if a go to http://test2.tamarawobben.nl/textpattern/setup/index.php i see a not found message.

Who knows how to handle this ?

Because the path is incorrect? Because Textpattern isn’t installed there? You didn’t upload files correctly? And most importantly, should we be mind-readers?

Could the path be http://test.tamarawobben.nl/textpattern/setup/index.php or something else? I can’t read ppls brain waves, so I don’t know where the setup dir is.

Hello,

It was a wrong upload.

But i ran into another problem :

When i do a svn into http://textpattern.googlecode.com/svn/releases/4.0.6/source I get 2.0.6.
When i do a svn into http://textpattern.googlecode.com/svn/development/4.0/ i also get 2.0.6.

How do i get 2.0.7 ?

Not sure if my answer is right but… 4.0.7 doesn’t exist yet.
What you are getting are snapshots between 4.0.6 latest release and 4.0.7 upcoming release.

So, yes, you are getting what 4.0.7 is going to be, but it isn’t named that way.

That’s right :) I’m running a development version on one of my sites, and it still says 4.0.6 in the back end. Diagnostics will show you which revision you are using though.

And er… don’t go to /textpattern/setup/index.php, but to /textpattern/index.php ;) (installation)
