Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

Sorry if this has already been asked before but is there anyway to get the plugin to output pretty HTML?

It’s all mushed together, which means every time I use the HTML button I have to sort it out only to have it muss again.

Is “leave text untouched” rather than “use textile” set in your site preferences? I found this cause the problem you mentioned.

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

If you created an article with “use textile” Tiny won’t be enabled when you edit it. That’s so it doesn’t mess up your article by accident.

If you turn Tiny on and save the article, it should come up when editing after that.

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

Hi, I’m having little trouble installing this plugin and I can’t find any similar problem here. After installing the plugin, I should go to Extensions tab, but I see nothing like that.

I’ve found this
http://textpattern.com/faq/314/my-plugins-extension-sub-tab-has-gone-missing

and it corresponds with my problem precisely, but adding suggested line
add_privs(‘hak_tinymce’, ‘1’);
do not help at all and I’m quite concerned what to do now :(

Thanks for any help.

Using: Textpatern 4.0.6, Hak_TinyMCE 0.7.4

hak_tinymce shouldn’t require setting privileges. Do you have “Use plugins?” and “Use admin-side plugins?” turned on in Preferences -> Advanced -> Publish ?

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

The extension tab is not visible from the plugin tab. Could it be the problem?

I don’t know if I understand you well, but where else I can find Extension tab?

PS: sorry for maybe silly question, but it’s my first installed plugin.

Plugins do not run when you are in the plugin tab. Go to another tab and you should see it on the top row.

You won’t believe me. I forgot to activate the plugin and that was the problem. Shame on me, such a stupid negligence. Of course now it works.

Re: hak_tinymce WYSIWYG article editor

how do i set it up so that half my article uses a txp tag, and the other half needs tinymce?

also to make things more confusing, i have a ton of articles that were made using the normal textile.
