Version Control

Hi folks,

I’m wondering if any of you would be willing to share your version control strategies? I’m used to using version control as I hack away, but since everything in TXP lives in the DB, I can’t really employ my usual strategies. Especially since I’m new to TXP, I’d love to be able to revert to any given changeset as I edit pages, forms, and styles.

Thanks!

Jim

Re: Version Control

You might want to check out cnk_versioning which looks the business. I’m too slapdash for versioning so I’ve never used it, but it might well be right up your street.

P.S. regarding the question in your other thread about searching the forum, it’s a pain not being able to search within threads or topics. No known solution exists, apart from using Google instead and perhaps also telling it to use the forum as a site if the results aren’t specific enough.
