Re: Installing TXP blocking access to subfolders

I think that htaccess rules work on a per directory basis, burt please somebody do correct me if i am wrong.

In any case if your subfolder does not have an index.html, the server will look for index.php as a second choice.

Re: Installing TXP blocking access to subfolders

Little more htaccess help, someone? I started to work with this duty again, and so far I have:

In subfolder: txp-site

In root: html-based minisite & new txp-site (index.php) under development. Directory indexes are marked in order “html, php”, so the minisite is reached first as a domain default. Now I additionally secured the development version’s index.php file by htpasswd.

> Problem: password protecting affects to subfolders index.php too, which should be open for users all the time. How to stop htpasswd inheriting from root to subfolder?
