macgameShuffle
This site is meant to be a fun way for Mac users to discover free games. There are big icons and screenshots along with the descriptions. The interface itself is designed to be like a game. You can click on the Shuffle button to see random games that might catch your fancy, or methodically go through them one by one (similar to a gallery).
The site is also a bit a playground for me. I used some advanced CSS that works in the latest Webkit and Mozilla browsers: things like corner radius, text and box shadow, transparencies, and non-link hovers. Best of all is an effect that only works in Safari 3.1 — the Shuffle button spins when you hover over it.
I haven’t done much testing with Internet Explorer, so you should probably avoid it unless you have IE8. But from what I understand, even it will be missing some of the advanced CSS. I have yet to decide whether I want to bother supporting IE, since the vast majority of my visitors use Safari or Firefox, and frankly it’s just too frustrating.
Be sure to have a look — and maybe download a couple of games . . .

Re: macgameShuffle
Mark, I like this, nice and simple and straight to the point.
Two suggestions; the genre menu isn’t very obvious and I would make the download link more prominent

Re: macgameShuffle
Thanks. I’ll try making the download link go the full width and see how it looks. I’m not sure what you mean by the genre menu not being obvious — are you referring to the word “Playlists”?
