fetch articles into an external PHP

Hello..

I’m new to Textpattern..really new..
Anyway, I was just wondering if it is possible to fetch articles into an external PHP.

For example,

I have 3 pages..Home, Blog, Contact.

Home and Contact are external PHPs (in root directory), and Blog is Textpatterns (in root/blog directory).

What i’m trying to do is to fetch latest articles from Blog page and put it in Home page.

Is this possible? If it is, could any of you give me some pointers or tutorials to look at?

Thanks in advance.

Hi

You can use Textpattern RSS feed to do that, you must integrate an RSS reader (simplepie for example) in you php pages.

Cheers

Re: fetch articles into an external PHP

Nice..I tried SimplePie, and that should do it.

Thanks to both of you.

My next question is..

I’m testing Simple Pie using Textpattern default install…

And in the Feed it also display “My Site” (my Site Name) and “My Pithy Slogan” (my site slogan) along with my other articles.

How do I exclude this on my RSS Feed?

Thanks again..

Never mind, I figured it out what was wrong
