Re: Personal website
It’s ok … solid proof! One thing thou … because the site language is strange to me … at first sight I thought the site was about wooden floors! No kidding … so, I suggest to take a more subject coherent background.

Re: Personal website
Thank you for your input, RedFox! I haven’t thought about it that way. I actually think that the wooden background makes it more personal instead of being to strict, if you know what I mean. But I will take it under advise.

Re: Personal website
I don’t feel same as RedFox. I found that it makes the layout more “fresh” and warm, plus also it’s the most decorative item in the whole layout :)
But might be that the fact that I understand the site’s language reflects in my opinion (thx to our bilingual country :D).

Actually wood makes me think instantly design, only designers use wood for the background of web pages.

Nice!
But! If possible, I’d reupload photo of man at the top – current jpg compression is spoils the idea

Re: Personal website
Gocom, thanks!
About the photo at the top, I guess that you mean the shirt. I’m aware of that the compression isn’t great but the shirt was light blue from the beginning so I made it white instead. I think it feels like there’s a spotlight turned right towards me (the photo) which felt a little cool when I made it.
