So can anyone help me get flexy working?
I tried installing flexy on a fresh version of 4.0.6 and followed the instructions to the letter, as far as I know. Didn’t work.
Figured that maybe it only worked with 4.0.4 so I started over, clean database, everything, and did the process again. Still didn’t work. And I mean… catastrophically didn’t work. You can see it here:

This is a site that I’m doing for free as a favor for a friend of my mom, and as a full time student and single parent, I’m just not in a position right now to design a custom layout for them, especially for free… Flexy with the Warm II style looks like it would work well to get them going. I could change the colors and graphics later when I have more time…
But what happens… oh, the horror. I’m a designer, not a programmer and this kind of thing makes my eyes glaze over and start uttering monosyllabic things like “uh….huh?”
Anyone who could offer any assistance would be my new best friend.

If anyone knows what was happening, I’d still like to know, but I ended up abandoning flexy in favor of a different template, so the “example” link is no longer the broken site.

Sorry about that Katherine. The switch.php file that goes in the doc root doesn’t work on some servers, so I’ve changed it and it should work now. I’ve also updated a few forms and pages and the template should be fine now for TXP 406. If you want to try it again, download flexy406.zip and swap switch.php. Also re-import flexy to get the updated forms and pages. Oh, and I’ve made it use zem_contact_reborn too and this and zem_contact_lang are in the plugins folder.
