An add to what have been sayed:
To have the install fully working, i think you must let user and preference table of the install and only drop and import the other tables, like that you havent to setup prefs again (site name, directory, …).

I’m creating a fresh new install with my usual plugins.
Then, I’ll try to install on other hosting/ and same hosting in other directory.
Then give here some feedback.

If you want “clear” txp after install just edit file /textpattern/setup/txpsql.php commenting out undesired strings. But be careful – the script is life-important for future work – don’t delete someting :)
Providing help in hacking ATM! Come to courses and don’t forget to bring us notebook and hammer! What for notebook? What a kind of hacker you are without notebok?
