Show images monthwise

Hallo,

I would like to order images by month (like a archive). But there is no field for dates. Maybe I could use the name field for the date. or…
Is there a plugin for something like that?

Up to now it looks like this but thats not pretty – too many images for a site.

Already posted in the german section here but up to now there is no response. So I reposted here.

Anybody any ideas?

The upload date is stored in the database (‘date’ column)

Ok. And how could I use that?
Do you know a plugin that can use that field?

I would like to show a list of months with a link to that month showing the images (uploaded in that month)

Please excuse my english.

I don’t know if such a plugin exists. It could be written though and perhaps the smd_query plugin can be used.

I solved the issue using smd_query and asy_wondertag.
