how should i deal with multiple authors and images

hi…

i have a question about images in textpattern, though it’s more of a general best-practices question than a technical one. i’m building a site at the moment which will ultimately have up to nine or ten authors. all of the authors will want to post images in their articles. most of them either don’t have previous c.m.s. experience, or else only have prior experience with wordpress, not textpattern.

the way that textpattern organises images isn’t as immediately intuitive as wordpress and other blog-centric content management systems. it’s likely that the authors for this site will find the process of adding images to articles somewhat confusing (separate tabs for articles and images, image id numbers, txp tags for putting images in posts, etc.)

is there any generally advisable way to reduce the burden of technical ability on the part of authors, and make it easier to post images? any good plugins that allow this kind of thing? any other related tips?

thanks…

snthr.
