How do I add a few flickr images?

I know there is the vdh_flickr plugin and the flickr badge, bu i want to just add a few images and be able to put them in a list on the index of my site. I don’t want galleries and badge doesn’t allow list items.

Don’t know if you already found a way, but an option would be to use articles. You can enter the full url to an external image in the article image field, and then use the article_image tag in a form to display them in a list.
