Interactivity with custom fields (using links or buttons)
Hi,
I’m sorry about the bad topic but i don’t really know how to put this question into a words.
I’ve been toying around with custom fields and they’re really useful for showing & arranging stuff etc. I can make a page that makes use of those but
what if i want to add some interactivity into that page?
Here’s an example of what i’m after:
Column names (links or buttons)
YEAR NAME
2008 Somename
And i would like to be able to make those “year” and “name” into links (or buttons) that when clicked would change the order of the
information shown on page. So clicking year would show the information arranged by year etc.
I don’t know what’s the correct phrase for what i’m looking for so my searches on this forum (and google) has turned zilch information about this subject. Or it might be that i just don’t know how to approach this idea. Maybe the links have to be links into a page that does the ‘deed’. But if there’s a fancier way or a tutorial somewhere i’d like to hear about it!
Thanks!
