Changing the section in Front page.?¿

Hi,
I finished creating my new website with textpattern but I have just decided to change the front page to be a different section.
Instead of opening with my Blog, I want to have the portfolio showup first.
But I cant figure out how to change it…
I tried copy pasting the pages code between them, and going to the sections category and changing stuff there too… It seems like it worked out, but when I click on a thumbnail in the portfolio instead of opening with the layout for portfolio, it uses the layout for the other section…

Maybe is really hard to explain, but if someone has found themselves with the same problem maybe they can help me.

Thanks!

Re: Changing the section in Front page.?¿

In the “Sections” tab you need to change the “On front page?” option for your Blog section to “no” and for your Portfolio section to “yes”. This will remove your Blog articles from the front-page and use your Portfolio articles instead.

If you want the front-page to use your Portfolio page layout template you need to change the “Uses page” option for the Default section. Your Portfolio section should also use this template. Both the front-page and the Portfolio section will then look the same.
