Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields
I doublechecked on all browsers on both MAC and PC, these Admin > Prefs > Advanced Prefs > SED_Section_fields settings DO NOT show up here. How can that be?
I also just found out that Firefox on MAC is actually the clients browser of choice, it never gets any easier does it?
if there is any way to get this great plugin work for this particular browser i would be very thankful, any hints appreciated. anyone else experiencing problems on Firefox 2.0 on a MAC?

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields
freischwimmen, let’s try what seems impossible: my suspicion is that long time ago you’ve set “remain logged in …” when logging in to TXP (in FF2 Mac). And that you’ve logged in as Editor, not being aware of any more now. That would explain sed_sf not working in FF2. The strange prefs behavior remains, though.

Uli: I logged in as both admin and copy editor, unfortunately that made no difference. i`m curious if anyone in this forum managed to get thisplugin to work on a MAC Firefox 2… Thanks!

freischwimmen,
are you testing your site in a local environment? if so read carefully the last 3-4 pages of this thread.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields
I have the plugin working fine on FF2, FF3 and Safari3. However, the prefs do not show up for me either.
I never knew they were there, so I didn’t realize until now that they were missing.
TXP 4.0.6
PHP 5.2.5

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields
All
Please report your plugin versions + txp version combinations that aren’t showing the prefs.
For txp it has to be 4.0.6+ to see the additional prefs as up to v4.0.6 Txp did not label the rows of the section table.
For the plugin you’ll need the one labelled as beta in the top post, not the one from the top line of the post.

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields
Oops. didn’t realize the prefs were only for the Beta. Sorry about that.
Although, I did just install the beta and it didn’t work (as in – nothing was hidden/shown)
I’ll test it some more later – can’t get side tracked at the moment. : )

Re: [plugin] [ORPHAN] sed_section_fields
i use 0.3.138 on 4.0.6+ and the preferences do not show up. Even though that doesn`t bother me at all, the MAC Firefox bug is more important as i don`t really care about fancyness this time, for me (or better to say my client) it just has to work on Firefox :)
even though i completely understand you want to know what`s up with the prefs net-carver.. ;)
thanks again for any time that goes into this issue.
