Re: Theme mechanism for TxP 4.0.X

I found that the _templates directory crerated by the hcg_templates plugin can’t be deleted by the admin of the server: the files and directories it writes are owned by the webserver (Apache in my case).

Any solution to this?

Re: Theme mechanism for TxP 4.0.X

I was getting the following warning when trying to create a ‘_templates folder’ within my root directory;

Warning: opendir(/home2/andymitc/public_html/templates) [function.opendir]: failed to open dir: No such file or directory in /home2/andymitc/public_html/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php(574) : eval()'d code on line 306
Warning: readdir(): supplied argument is not a valid Directory resource in /home2/andymitc/public_html/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php(574) : eval()'d code on line 310

But then I tried creating “templates” (without the underscore) and voila, it worked.

What’s up with that?

I noticed that also. Seems like the documentation and the code are out of sync. You can easily change it to use _templates on this line

"base_dir" => "_templates",

Strange, mine says version 0.3 and doesn’t say it’s been modified but has it as _templates
