Posting not vertical
Hello, I’m not the smartest person and I seem to always have trouble with blogging tools. I thought I had textpattern figured out and I like the way it looks, but my posts are not showing up vertical, they are showig up horizontally. I have a feeling when figuring out how to get my layout working I may have deleted something but I have no idea what. Can anyone help me please?

I messed around with it a lot trying to figure out how to get it into the layout I wanted so I’m sure it was just something stupid that I did while playing around.

Re: Posting not vertical
either your understanding of textpattern forms or your understanding of html is a bit off center.
There should be only one <body>-container in your document, but you have at least 3.
There is an css linked in the head but it seems you want to use tables for the layout – unfortunately the posts start with a table cell (<td>) but don’t provide a table row (<tr>) resulting in your posts shown vertically (from the html perspective this is the correct behaviour – that this is not what you want is not the fault of the browser).
You might want to do a clean html first and then translate this in texpattern forms and pages. Check the how-to section of the forum, there are a bunch of helpful posts.

Re: Posting not vertical
Thanks. I get too wound up into looking at code and things just don’t jump out at me. I think I need to take more time figuring out the forms and start from scratch so I follow all the coding. I appreciate the help!

Re: Posting not vertical
You could use a clean template and start from there. Tranquility white might be a good start judging from your site design.
