Thanks friends…. Getting slowly into putting things into place.
However, I am interested in presenting my default BLOG page as the one, which will just display all topics as per CATEGORY name. To emphasise, I want only CATEGORYs listing alone on the default page: Example: Finances, Sports, Entertainment, etc…..
Is this possible?…. and if yes, could anyone throw some light?

Does <txp:category_list /> help? Surround your code with <txp:if_section name="default"></txp:if_section> tags if you use the same page template for different sections.
