How to backup text pattern site to duplicate machine?
Hello All,
I’m running a small corporate intranet (using TextPattern) on a MacMini with OSX Leopard. I purchased a second MacMini to sit on top of the production one with the intention of it being a fail over in the event the production box goes down.
What are my options for setting up the production box to replicate itself to the failover (either via our local network or firewire) weekly in such a way that if the primary box goes down I can simply make a DNS change to push my users to the failover?
Thanks!

Re: How to backup text pattern site to duplicate machine?
absolutely but i was concerned about two things:
time machine will keep backups until the target disk (the hd of the second macmini) is full and I don’t want it to consume all the space of the drive in the back up unit.
i want both machines to be identical in every way (site, apache settings, etc.)so that I can just make the ip switch if the primary goes down so that site access is uninterrupted.
