Zem Event Excerpts

Hi there,

Does anyone know how to limit the zem_event_description? I am using the zem events plugin but want to use a short excerpt on the homepage. For my other post I am using RSS_auto_excerpt. How would I do this with zem_events? Take a short excerpt of the text.

This is kind of urgent. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.

I found the answer eventually by trying the str_substr plugin which almost was what I was looking for but then the little advertised rvm_substr. Did the job!

Thanks for following up with your solution.

rvm_substr is a great plugin – I hadn’t thought of it for use with zem_event. That’s a cool idea.
