I'm so confused. How do I see my blog?
I looked everywhere for my answers, and Im still confused. I can’t even find my blog. I tried example.com/index.php and example.com/textpattern and some other ones. I still can’t find it. Also once i find it how do I make it my default/index page? Any help is very appreciated

Re: I'm so confused. How do I see my blog?
I take it that you have yor own domain where you installed txp.
If you installed textpattern in the root then your blog would be on www.yourdomain.com and the login screen would be on www.yourdomain.com/textpattern/
If you installed textpattern in a subdirectory then your blog would be on www.yourdomain.com/folder/ and the login screen on www.yourdomain.com/folder/textpattern/

Re: I'm so confused. How do I see my blog?
I still can’t find it. I installed it in my public_html folder. So in that folder is a folder called textpattern, and then inside the text pattern foldrer is some files, and 3 other folders called: files, images, textpattern. Does that help any?
Thanks for trying though :D

It would help if you gave us your url…
Also did you install it? Upload is not enough
You need to setup a mysql database and then go to yoursite.com/textpattern/setup/ to install the tables…

You’ve got this wrong. Inside the public_html folder you should have images, files and textpattern folders plus index.php, .htaccess, readme.txt and history.txt. Inside the textpattern folder you should NOT have images, files and textpattern folders, but should have different folders plus a different index.php plus config.php and other files.
So instead of your site being in the public_html, it looks like it is inside the public_html/textpattern folder.

Ok thanks I will try to sort that out, or re install it. :)

Did you log into TXP? If so, click the “View site” tab at the top right.
