site URL problems
We updated Textpattern on centro.net (http://centro.net/news/index.php) to take advantage of functionality needed for the new “Newsletter section”. The one issue which arose being that TP URLs ceased working correctly. As before the ‘site URL’ was “centro.net/news” – http://centro.net/news/ would show, but all TP links on that page broke after the update.
We used a workaround setting the ‘site URL’ to “centro.net/news/index.php/” (slash at the end) which fixed that problem, but created another problem where http://centro.net/news/ no longer is accessible, as “http://centro.net/news/index.php/” is now the site URL, and all TP URLs changed (i.e. http://centro.net/news/pr/ changed to http://centro.net/news/index.php/pr/) – breaking any hard coded links to previous content.
Any suggestions?
