How can I change the date of posted comments?

I’m transferring (old) comments of a former site to a new site (concept) … by making new comments! And therefore the comments get an actual date … which is correct. But is there a way (plugin!) to change the date?

Just export and import the txp_comments table from database. Simple and fast: no useless work, takes only a sec.

Yes sure … but the old site is not powered by TXP. Sorry, I didn’t make that clear in the first post.

But still you can import the comments directly to database or you can change the date with queries/via phpMyAdmin.

Joop, are there many comments? If there are not too many, you could manually change the dates in the txp_discuss table (using phpMyAdmin) after transferring them. I doubt if it could be done with a query, because I assume most of the comments will have different dates…
