Feedburner & TXP

Hi,

I put together my 1st site (www.rickpkw.com) using TXP. I’m trying to integrate a feedburner into my site. I’ve followed the tutorial from http://sonspring.com/journal/feedburner-and-textpattern, although when I go to google reader and enter my url, it picks up the feed from www.rickpkw.com/atom instead of feedburner feed, am I doing somethnig wrong?, or is there anything else I need to do? is there any documentation that explains with more depth how to integrate TXP & feedburner?

Thank you,
rick pkw

Re: Feedburner & TXP

An easy solution is to put <link rel=“alternate” type=“application/atom+xml” title=“Atom” href=“http://feeds.feedburner.com/YourFeed” /> and / or <link rel=“alternate” type=“application/rss+xml” title=“Rss” href=“http://feeds.feedburner.com/YourFeed” /> somewhere in between <head></head>.

Re: Feedburner & TXP

Rick,

I had a similar problem recently after following the same Sonspring tutorial but noted that it only occurred when I used Safari. It resolved to the correct feedburner URL for the feed using Foxpro (Mac and Win), IE7 and Opera 9. I haven’t had time to find out why that should be.

hi stonemonkey45 & joe,

Thank you for the replies. I’ll try the <link> suggestion & try it using different browsers.
