[textile] Primes and double primes

When displaying measurements, I had thought there was something built in to Textile that handled the display of inch and foot marks. Currently, with Textpattern 4.0.6 entering something like 2×4’ produces a quote mark instead of the proper prime mark. What’s the proper procedure here?
