In the image_list : add "more" actions
Hello,
The article edit page have a “more” option that allow us to modify the date and hour of the article.
It would be nice to have the same thing in the image_list, then we can resort images by date in <txp:index_image c="sky" sort="date DESC" />

Your hack looks good but it neglects the new improvements in the image tab where multiple editing will soon be possible with the 407 release.

… and surely neglects the new improvements of the 408, 409, etc. ;-)
Seriously, I’m not the one that can guess the new improvment of TXP : developpers can do it and give us (me) the good way. Your post doesn’t help us at all : be constructive please ! What’s the good way ?

Hi François – I haven’t checked your code but Yiannis is referring to the current state of the development branch or SVN which will lead to 4.0.7. Currently the “Images” tab can be sorted by any column except “Tags” and further there is a new “multiple edit” box added which is similar to the one at the bottom of the “Articles” tab. These modifications have also been done to the “Files” and “Plugins” tabs.

I’m really looking forward to using the new image tab, but I’m a bit torn as it won’t introduce what François implemented into his version: editing name, alt and caption directly, without deviation [Edit: detour?]. It is not about mass editing.

Someone else mentioned that in the last few days Uli. Let me check around.
EDIT Well talk about going round in circles. It was François’ original post about his hack. I new I’d seen a screen-shot somewhere. :)
