Error when uploading images
This one is driving me mad. My textpattern install works fine in every way except for the image upload. Admin diagnostics gives me the green “ALL CHECKS PASSED!”. I have checked and made sure my tmp, images and files directories all have permissions of 777.
Following is the error I get when i try to upload any image:
Warning: move_uploaded_file(./tmp/php2wt3wB): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/vhosts/thespacenews.com/httpdocs/newsadmin/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php on line 1286
Warning: move_uploaded_file(): Unable to move ‘./tmp/php2wt3wB’ to ‘/var/www/vhosts/thespacenews.com/httpdocs/newsadmin/textpattern/tmp/txp_1uWhum’ in /var/www/vhosts/thespacenews.com/httpdocs/newsadmin/textpattern/lib/txplib_misc.php on line 1286
Can someone please help me out?

You can try re-uploading that file – txplib_misc.php – might be corrupted.

I did that – that’s the first thing I tried. Thanks tho – any other suggestions? I have it working fine on another domain. I can’t see the difference in the installations though….

Are the PHP settings the same on the two domains? Can’t think it can be anything except PHP settings or corrupted/missing TXP files.

It’s the “tmp” folder.
I’ve had this in the past and – with my host (Supanames in the UK) creating my own “tmp” folder as per the FAQ didn’t help.
Instead I had to get Supanames’ tech people to create one.
