How do I unbugger-up my updating?

So, I thought “It’s been a while since I’ve updated Txp” and decided to give it a go. Man, it’s been too long:

I failed my update and when I try to do a clean install, I keep getting an error message that the mysql is already hooked up with Txp.

Comments? Suggestions (besides ‘step away from the computer’)? Help?

~~It looks like the old textpattern/config.php still exists – delete it, then reinstall.~~

Edit: Err….reading is hard. Edit config-dist.php with your MySQL info and file paths, then rename it to config.php.
