Looking to pay for a few plugins to be developed
I am looking to pay someone to develop a few plug-ins for textpattern. They would be a huge help in my uses for TXP and I assume that others would also enjoy the plug-ins, however no one seems to be developing them.
I am looking for a way to create several write tabs, different ones will only write to specific sections. That way I can set it up so clients can click “Write News” , “Add Employee Description” rather than hitting write, hopefully selecting the right section, etc…
I am also looking for a way to have the articles page be organized in different columns according to their section.
I have a fairly hefty budget as these will go towards reducing client training/support time.
Any interested parties please contact me at ross – at – 3point7designs.com

Re: Looking to pay for a few plugins to be developed
I think many people think this variable “content-type write and item-list panes” would be useful to make using txp easier for end users among other things – these are some of the things the xpattern” ‘fork’ wanted to address, but it’s not yet progressed that far. I for one would love this.
For the moment, to make things at least a little easier for the end user, I’ve used a combination of sed_section_fields (sometimes with glz_custom_fields) and ide_hide_in_admin for the write pane.
lam_browse_by helps in navigating long article lists.
